In  this you will get to know about Kabir , a chartered accountant , who lives a happy life with his wife Jyoti and his children JANHVI and Dhruv in Dehradun . One day Kabir and his family planned a weekend trip to their farmhouse in the hills and on their way to their farmhouse , they met a stranger man named VANRAJ , who somehow took control over Kabir daughter JANHVI and she obeys each and everything that VANRAJ tells her to do .

Seeing her daughter miserable condition Kabir become helpless . Now to know , who is VAMRAJ , how is he so powerful and how  he took control over JANHVI and how Kabir frees her daughter from VANRAJ control and how he save his family from VANRAJ , to know about all these questions , you have to watch the movie SHAITAAN . The acting in the movie is excellent , but the story is not that good .

The first half of the film is interesting , but the second half of the film is not that good and also the film is left with many important questions unanswered . Production Of the movie – SHAITAAN is a remake of 2023 Gujrati horror film VASH . The film was announced in May 2023 and the title of the film was decided in January 2024 . R MADHAVAN and AJAY DEVGN were cast for lead roles alongside JYOTHIKA , Angad Raj and JANKI BODIAWALI . It was for the first time that  R MADHAVAN and JYOTHIKA has collaborated  together in a movie since 2003 .

Music in the Movie – The music in the film is composed by Amit Trivedi and the lyrics are written by KUMAAR . The first single titled ” KHUSHIYAAN BATOR LO ” was released on 15 February 2024 . The second single ” AISA MAIN SHAITAAN ” was released on 29 February 2024 .

Box Office Collection – The film was made on budget of 60-65 crore and till now the film has collected 76.97 crores worldwide . With the kind of hype that audience has SAHITAAN is expected to cross somewhere around between 110-130 crores worldwide .

Critical Response Of The Movie – IMDB has given SHAITAAN  a rating of 7.9 out of 10 . BOLLYWOOD HUNGAMA has given 4 out of 5 stars and wrote that SHAITAAN is a nail biting thriller with amazing performances and with superb climax clapping scenes that keeps the audience engaged .

Dhaval Roy of The Times Of India has given 3.5 out of 5 stars , Sana from India Today has given 2.5 out of 5 stars and wrote SHAITAAN falls short probably due to weak script and the pressure of helming a remake .

SAIBAL CHATTERJEE of NDTV has given 1.5 out of 5 stars and wrote that JYOTHIKA was the only actor in the movie who is able to rise above her potential and the two male actors and other actors playing them don’t stand a chance .
